Also, I forgot to add this. Some of the things giving me joy and making me happy here are great friendships, having a great support system and of course this blogggg🥰🥰

Okay about the calendar for medical students in their second year here. An academic year is divided into postings instead of semesters. 200 level MB;BS students have four postings. The first posting is the Cell and Body Defence posting which is done for four weeks, then the Introduction to Body Systems posting which is done for another four weeks. After these two postings, there's a week of revision after which we write our first medical school exam in the following week. This exam is based on what we were taught during the CBD/IBS posting.

We go on a break after the exam then resume for four weeks of Respiratory System posting, another four weeks for Cardiovascular System posting, revision week then examination week. This particular exam written is known as the comprehensive examination, it comprises of everything we've been taught from the beginning of 2nd year.
