When I was a jambite and an aspirant of medical school, I definitely know that if Iād come across a blog like mine, Iād enjoy its content. And Iām sure there are lot of people like me. I need to get my blog into university aspirantsā network and I need help doing this. If you have a way to help me, please kindly reach out to me. Thank youā¤ā¤
I wrote the first part of this blog post in January and I feel itās a good thing Iām writing the second part in July. Thatās a six month difference so if you were a passive aggressive person at the beginning of the year, you donāt have to stay so till the end of the year. Isnāt that wonderful??šš If you didnāt get to read my post in January, you can do so after reading thisā¤
Iād be using PG to denote either passive aggression, passive aggressive or passive aggressiveness. In the first part of this post, I talked about signs of PG and how to deal with someone being PG. Today, Iāll be talking about how to stop being PG. Letās get into ittttšš

1.Ā Ā Ā Ā If you feel a negative emotion come over you, give yourself time to think before you act. You can attempt to calm yourself down with a few deep breaths. Try to be aware of your behavior and opt to express your emotions in an honest and healthy way. Always remember that you can have difficult conversations respectfully.
2.Ā Ā Ā Ā Use your words carefully and donāt let your emotions control you. If you say something you didnāt mean in anger, thereās no way to āunsayā it or take it back.
3.Ā Ā Ā Ā Know what triggers you. Everyone has a pet peeve, knowing yours would help you to prepare in handling a triggering situation when it comes. (Everyone that has that controversial topic that stimulates their adrenaline and makes them ready for a fight).
4.Ā Ā Ā Ā Learn to be open- say what you feel. Donāt bottle up your emotions. Be assertive, problems are solved through confrontations because both parties reach an understanding. Nobody can read your mindš
5.Ā Ā Ā Ā Find the root- find out the things that make you passive aggressive.
6.Ā Ā Ā Ā Be patient- change takes time and effort. Overcoming habits is a process.
At the end of the day, PG is neither beneficial nor helpful. It is not a solution as it makes things even worse. Get rid of the fear of confrontation and release your aggression in an assertive way. And please if you want to have a difficult conversation with someone, speaking with the person physically or making a phone call is way better than texting.
A lot of PG people have learnt that anger is bad so they prefer to give the angry smile.
I hope this post was beneficial, donāt forget to share so that others can read and learn something tooš¤
So, what have I been up to since my last post?
1.Ā Ā Ā Ā Two of my results have been released and I bless the name of the Lord for my scores. Iām very grateful to Baba God and I hope they get better in subsequent exams.
2.Ā Ā Ā Ā Academically, Iām in a critical place and I hope I pull through. The workload is more and my exams are getting closer. Medical school can be a tough place but my Jesus is greater.
3.Ā Ā Ā Ā I talked about my birthday in my last post and even though itās passed, I had a blastttššCheck my Instagram to see my pictures in 3Dš š
